Vintage Japanese cotton tenugui towel or rather cloth. This pattern is dyed. It features Animals of the Japanese zodiac, dragon, horse, dog and tiger etc
A tenugui are cotton wrapping cloths or towels. They measure 91 cm long by 36 cm wide. They have two raw edges (top and bottom) this is what distinguishes them from the more mass produced tenugui. They are also dyed rather than printed. Meant to be used as a soft cotton towel. They epitomise Japanse culture.
Lightweight cotton fabric.
All fabrics are burn tested to determine content.
