Vintage Japanese cotton tenugui towel or rather cloth. This pattern is a printed pattern. It features Daruma, Koi fish and monkeys. In turquoise blue and red.
A tenugui are cotton wrapping cloths or towels. They measure 91 cm long by 36 cm wide. They have two raw edges (top and bottom) this is what distinguishes them from the more mass produced tenugui. Meant to be used as a soft cotton towel. They epitomise Japanse culture.
Lightweight cotton fabric.
All fabrics are burn tested to determine content.
